Tuesday Night, the Lady Hawk defense showed up in a major way after giving up just one run in the top of the first inning. The Defensive play was led by none other than senior pitcher Lexi Snyder, as she posted 10 strike-outs while only giving up 3 hits! Snyder wasn’t shy at the plate against the Bulldogs either, going 2-3 with a pair of RBI’s. The offense definitely didn’t stop there. The Lady Hawks ended the ball game with 9 runs on 12 total hits! We caught up with Pleasant Grove Assistant Coach Carly Barrett before the game to find out players to watch in 2022 , she simply couldn’t name them all. A few that came right off the top of her head were; Pitcher Lexi Snyder, ShortStop Addison Kholer, 1B Presley Humphrey, and 2B MJ Willams. Pleasant Grove ended the ball game in a 9-1 finish over the Bulldogs and are looking forward to their next time out on the diamond.
